Founded in July 1980 on Cumbers Farm, Trotton near Reigate. The purchased the Railway Inn, Elsted in 1985 and renamed in Ballards Pub and moved the brewery there. In 1988, with the need for extra space necessary, the pub was sold and the brewery moved to its current location. A 10 barrel brewplant is used.
