Test brews for this were produced at Foxfield. Brewing on their own plant, a 4 BBL plant previously used by Whitley Bridge and initially located at Diamond Buildings, Pennington Lane, Lindal, Ulverston, LA12 0LA, started in January 2006. The brewery moved to it's current location in the summer of 2010 expanding to a 12BBL plant.
Following the sale of The Red Cow, home of Harpenden Brewery, in 1997, the 2 barrel brewplant was moved to behind the Farmers Boy pub in St Albans. Brewing restarted at the new location in March 1997. Following the sale of the brewery in early 2006, the brewery reopened as Alehouse Brewery. In 2010 the brewery resorted back to it's original guise.
Started brewing in 1995 based at Rugge Farm in Capel. Moved to Vincent Works in Dorking in 1997. In early 2000, brewing was stopped and the plant mothballed with some beers being brewed by Arundel. In February 2001, an arrangement to share the brewery with Hepworth was entered into. During August 2003, the sharing arrangement finished and the brewery moved to an industrial estate on the outskirts of Horsham. A 15 BBL plant is used, parts of which were used at the Burkes.
Started brewing in 1998 based in outbuildings at the Pot Kiln, Frilsham, Yattedon. A 5 barrel brewplant was used. In 1999 a second brewery was opened at the above address with a 25 barrel brewplant installed there. Following a further expansion in 2006, brewing ceased at the Pot Kiln in early 2007.
Brewing started in the old stables beside The Plough Inn in April 1980. A steady expansion resulted in a new larger brewplant in 1992 as a result of the purchase of the name and brands of Sam Powell. Further expansion followed in 1996.
