Started early 2001 brewing bottle conditioned ales only although at times a cask may be available. The brewery ceased production during summer of 2004. However the plant and name were sold to new owners, believed to be in South Wales.

Founded in 1843, this brewery moved to their current location in 1861. Still very much family run the current MD is the great-great-grandson of the founder. Some of the malt used comes from the family farm.

Started brewing in 1980, initially using a 5 barrel brewplant. This has been expanded to a 15 barrel plant over the years. A feature of the brewery is the large number of beer related food items that are available, such as beer mustard and cheese.

Brewing in the same place since 1795, this very traditional East Anglia brewer is still very much a family company. The brewery is also famed for a large garden situated behind the brewery, which can also be visited.
